Rockhampton Regional  Development has produced the following Project Status Reports as part of a project designed to "Build Business Capacity and Employment in the Central Queensland Region”.

Our partners in this endeavour are the Regional Councils of Rockhampton, Gladstone and Central Highlands, Banana Shire Council, Regional Economic Development Boards, Queensland Master Builders, Commerce Queensland and the former CQ Area Consultative Committee. The Project is funded by the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation (DEEDI).

The reports detail the exceptional amount of projects that will become available throughout Central Queensland over the next few years, starting with the Federal and State Stimulus spending packages that are available now, to the many Liquified Natural Gas developments, coal mines, water projects and railway lines planned for construction in  the near future. Nearly $100 billion of expenditure, due to start in the new few years has been identified in these Reports.

These reports can be updated monthly to include any new projects so that it can be used as a valuable information source for what is happening in Central Queensland.

If you require further information on the various Projects or Stimulus Packages contact Graham Bloxsom at Rockhampton Regional Development on  4927 0292.
