Chief Executive Officer - Mercy Health and Aged Care Central Queensland Limited

Ian Mill has thirty years experience in the Australian Health Industry. He has worked in both the Public and Private sectors in both small rural and large metropolitan hospitals. He has also worked with government departments and Area Health Services.

Ian has held many senior positions within this industry and is currently the CEO of Mercy Health and Aged Care Central Queensland Limited, comprising of five private hospitals, a day procedure unit, three residential aged care facilities, two retirement villages and centralised food and linen services. Facilities are located in Mackay, Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Gladstone and Bundaberg.

Ian is the past president of the Private Hospital Association of Queensland and is a surveyor and a member of the State Advisory Committee with the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards. Ian is a former Chairman of the Central Queensland Institute of TAFE Council, is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directories and is a member of the Capricorn Electricity Board and is a past president of the Australian and New South Wales Catholic Health Care Associations.

Ian is a current board member of the Capricornia Credit union, based in Rockhampton. He holds a qualification in Health Services Management.
