Government Stimulus Packages
The Federal and State Governments are pumping a large amount of money into Central Queensland through their various Stimulus Packages.
Over the next two years, over $300m will be spent in Central Queensland.
To help identify if the money is being spent wisely, we ask that you complete this 30-second survey regarding the Stimulus Packages.
The survey can be completed online until the end of January.

Women's Leadership Forum
The Australian Region Women’s Leadership Forum 2010 will be held in Rockhampton on Thursday 18 February.
Over 80 women from the Rockhampton area are expected to attend this forum, designed to support the leadership aspirations of women throughout regional Australia.
The cost of the full day forum is $88 per person and places are limited.

Low Carbon Diet
The Central Queensland Local Government Association (CQLGA) is looking for streets to represent their town as part of the Low Carbon Diet program.
Nominate your street to compete against other streets in Central Queensland to find out who the biggest CO2 loser is.
The street with the most nominations received by Friday 29 January will represent their town.

World's Greatest Shave Mine Challenge
The Leukaemia Foundation of Queensland has launched the 2010 Mine Challenge as part of the World’s Greatest Shave.
The Challenge pits Queensland’s mining resources and energy sectors against each other to raise much-needed funds.
Since the first challenge in 2006, almost $1.5m has been raised.
The World’s Greatest Shave takes place from the 11-13 March.

A Summer's Night
The Keppel Coast Arts Council proudly present A Summer’s Night, featuring Busby Marou, Nebraska Red and Maxine McCabe.
The concert will be held on Saturday 23 January at the Yeppoon Little Theatre, William Street. Doors open at 6:30pm.
Entry is $15 for KCAC members and $20 for non-members. Tickets are available from Yellow Door Books & Music or at the door.
