Charles Ware is a Director and Deputy Chair of Gladstone Ports Corporation Limited, the owner and operator of Port Alma and the Port of Gladstone. Previously, he was the Chair of Rockhampton Port Authority.
The formation of GPCL from 1st July 2004 highlights the Queensland Government's intention to provide Queensland with world class transport infrastructure and best practice logistic and marine services to support industry, regional development and employment.
Charles is a lawyer with degrees in Arts and Law and a post graduate degree in Management and Law. He is Deputy Chancellor of CQUniversity Australia and part time consultant to a Yeppoon legal firm. He has also previously held appointments in the Queensland electricity supply industry on the boards of Capricornia Electricity and Ergon Energy.
