Advisory Committees

Three Committees operate to provide advice to the Strategic Advisory Board. These committees comprise of representatives from CTEDL's membership and provide advice on the key areas of:

     - Communities: make recommendations to the Economic Development Strategic Advisory Board about matters relating to soft infrastructure issues including environment, health, education, recreation, social, law and order, and culture; and improving the quality of lifestyles in the region and enhancing the liveability for current and future residents.

     - Economic Development: make recommendations to the Strategic Advisory Board about matters relating to the mining services and agribusiness supply chain development opportunities; attraction of new business and growing of existing business; and attraction of skilled labour in identified vocations experiencing shortages.

     - Planning and Infrastructure: make recommendations to the Strategic Advisory Board about matters relating to the current and future needs and provision of hard and soft infrastructure; and the current effectiveness of Council's town planning schemes, development control plans and development approvals processes and advise the Board on appropriate input to regular and/or periodic reviews.
